With 3 packets of seasonings, this would be Sandra Lee approved, semi-home made.

Thanks for sharing. Do you have a recipe for fluff-chick-en?

I am all thumbs in the kitchen, but have impressed my family several times with this recipe. I also add other fresh vegetables like celery, corn, and potatoes to the pot. The house smells amazing and the roast tastes better.

Very appropriate as most of my cooking ultimately requires fire and rescue.
p.s looks delicious , and so does the pot roast :)

thanx for the recipe. My potroast turned out great so thank you again.
Hi. The roast I have is just a little over 2 lbs... should I cook it less time?

@fal2grace Hi! Thanks so much for watching and writing in. Cooking in the crock pot on low for 7-9 hours should work just fine with your 2lb+ roast. You can check on it before that time to see if it's tender... but generally, the longer you cook it, the more tender it will be... especially with the cheaper cuts of meat. I hope you will enjoy this recipe. I made it again a few days ago... yummy! Have a beautiful day. Hugs...

Wow!! I'm from Wales and pot roasts don't seem to be big over here. In fact I don't know anyone who even knows what they are. Including me lol but this looks amazing!!! Thank you!!

@ChrissyCullen Hi! Thank you so very much for watching and writing in. I'm sorry I just found your reply. That is so neat how different areas have different foods/drinks, etc. Pot roasts are fairly popular here in the states. This particular recipe is really delicious as the meat turns out very tender. Thank you again for stopping by. I hope all is well with you and yours. Hugs...
