@Tonyillicit No you were rite at first, it was Coke, because at that time their slogan was "Recognize the real", or soething like that. I fell in love with this beat from that commercial, so when the album dropped and it was up there, I thought I'd died and went to heaven...
@locomotifx Yep thats all good, anything to help a fellow enthusiast - The song on Doc's Da Name 2000 I was reffering to was "Cloze Ya Doorz" but you already knew that. The bit on THIS song when she says "I represent through Mind, Soul and Body" was sampled on the High and Mighty song "Mind, Soul and Body (go figure lol) - if you HAVEN'T heard that one yet - Youtube it. I love THAT song too, generally for the sample usage, but Eon blesses the vocals too. Goodday to Loco T
@locomotifx She was also the vocal you heard on the track Tonight's Da Night where it goes "Yo redman man, What da fuck etc....on Whut the Album
Also on Doc's Da Name 2000 the first rapper to spit is her too. Also Erick's sister Kim Sermon also rapped on his Insomnia album the song "On The Regular" by a group named Duo. Kim was part of that.
Also on the Double or nothing sleeve notes says song Tell Em' written by R Kirkpatrick, E. Sermon, K. Murray and R. Noble - stands for Rozlyn, not Reggie
@Infamous256 was it Sprite LOL? It might be cuz sprite had some ill commercials back in the day. I remember the Freestyle commercials with Nas and AZ and Grand Puba!
