The DD35As were 88ft, the DDA40Xs were 98ft 6in.

I gotta say I'm somewhat dissappointed in my SP DD35a...its so "Plain Jane" insofar as detail is concerned...not to mention that its 3 inches smaller that the MTH DD40AX that I sold on ebay to make room for this engine (many regrets now).

Very nice. I'm hoping I can make my layout realistic and nice. I'v already bought some things. I can't wait to get my train.
