A completely subjective and non-scientific test of the recoil of the non-compensated Glock 23 compared to the compensated 23C. The 23C has noticeably less felt recoil, and (for me) noticeably more and pretty annoying muzzle concussion. I prefer the 23, actually.

  • I own both and have noticed the non compensated is more accurate with the hotter ammo , and lower velocity heavier bullet stuff is more accurate from the 23c....swapped back n fourth ...several different shooters. Try some wolf 180 gr. Then something hotter like a hornaday 165 gr. Try both one day just to see.

  • @funshootin1 Interesting, thanks. I primarily shoot 180 ball.

  • Do these two pistols both have failures to lock open when the mag is empty? What generation are the pistol? Good video !

  • @smart0009 It was probably my thumbs-forward grip interfering with the slide stop. Both Generation 3 FYI.

  • I like yur style and you guys have helped me with my decision on tradeing my g22 in for a g23c

  • @dsmowner02 Cool... I also prefer the 23C over the G22.

  • Dude, there is a difference you can see, the compensated Glock barely moved, the regular fliped up a lot.

  • Pretty scientific to me. Well good enough at least. Thanks

  • Thanks for your promt answer as I a new to glocks. Good luck, good video
