On the weekend of November 19-21, 2010, some 560 climate
activists, students, scholars, elected officials and
concerned citizens participated in the Pricing Carbon
Conference at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT.
Participants explored organizing and political strategies
to address the climate crisis focusing on a direct carbon
pricing mechanism that is effective, equitable, and
politically viable.
The conference was co-hosted by Wesleyan College of the
Environment and the Price Carbon Campaign. This video
conveys conference highlights, capturing participants'
excitement and commitment.
