Hello, thanks for your question. Humidity depends upon the species of scorpion whether its an arid species such as a desert scorpion or a tropical species like the rainforest scorpion.

As to when they moult, it can be quite tricky with scorpions, they will generally moult once a year and signs of premoult may include an unwillingness to eat or darkening of the exoskeleton.

Hi again, they do not neccessarily need a red light but they do need a heat source of some kind. The easiest way to feed your scorpions crickets is either grabbing them with your fingers gently or tipping them out from the egg crate.

We do have desert scorpions for sale. They DO need a heat mat, especially during winter. We also stock mealworms and woodworms.
