The ones that I have worked with seemed a tad aggressive with their dogs and Oban is far too sensitive to everything in the world to begin with. He's even scared around dogs outside his own family.

How cool!! I wish I could do that with my Border Collies! Barkley has a really strong reaction to cows, don't know why?? But I'm sure he would love to herd some sheep!

His first time, he was a bit timid for about 5 min. and then got right into it. He looked like he had been herding his entire life! He liked it, but I didn't find it that appealing. Plus, I have found that "Herding Instructors", who more often then not have their own working dogs, tend to have a different training technique with their dogs.

Thanks for the comment Animalfanatic19! I really appreciate it! :-) I am hoping to start him in agility this fall. Herding is a lot of fun, but agility looks like a blast!!!

Thanks for the comment! We have only begun training, so it will take a bit for Me to get use to the herding, but he knows it like the back of his paw!
