Another Civil War Music Video by Rich Mendoza, "Two Soldiers" is performed by the "Libby Prison Minstrels". It tells the story of two men who meet within the ranks and agree that if one should fall, the other would tell the family of his duty to his country. Tragically, both are killed together in the same battle and the word never returns home. This song was written in 1862 after the "Battle of Fredericksburg". The original title was, "The Last Fierce battle" The video features the acting talents of the men and ladies of the 12th New Jersey Co. "K".
