For the first two notes do you use your first finger to bar the two strings or do you use your first and second fingers?

in fact, i'm playing F#, my index finger is on the 2 second fret although it looks like it bars on the first fret.

@redheadhistorian thats what happened to me when i first learnt the song but i just played it like a billion times slowly with a metrnome, speeding up the bpm gradually and i eventually nailed the intro verse n chrous, havnt tried the solo yet lol

I just tried to learn this song on lead. I cant do it. Just cant. I cant even figure out a picking order "up/down - which tring" thats comfortable. Hats off to anyone who can play this that well. Solo or not.
