WFTV Eyewitness News open - 4/26/11

So, as of Noon today, those 2-year-old variations of the original HD graphics were laid to rest. Today, WFTV unveiled a new graphics package and a new EWN logo. [BankGothic, the font for the logo since 1997, was ousted by an italicized version of Forza; closely resembles Eurostile]; however, they still manage to stick to the Megatrax library. The opening theme is "A Closer Look" (apparently, that and "Hard Coffee" has so much unoriginality, no one can tell them apart); the teases and closings use "When the Story Breaks," previously used on WWOR.

It is NOT the Hard Coffee theme, its a Megatrax package called "A Closer Look".

@james32746 Ya think?! Lol Well, the graphics by themselves look amazing. But the music just cheapens it, same as the ones from 2 years ago. Hopefully, this is like what WKMG went through during the first few years of their local mandate - a phase.

It sounds like Megatrax's "Complete Coverage", but I'm not 100% sure.

@OTownNews Ironically, A Closer Look and Hard Coffee are on the exact same CD, News Promo Vol.1 by Megatrax. At closer examination, it would not be too difficult to confuse the two because the beginning sound is pretty much exactly the same, just has a different note structure in Hard Coffee. The reason I know it's A Closer Look is because of the bumper sound seen in this video, and from what I've heard while in Orlando.

i know for for a fact it's not but this music sounds a lot like the Gannet package. And yes this is the Hard Coffee theme.

Actually, that's not Eurostile, it's H&FJ's Forza, which closely resembles it.
