You are all in big mistake. This is NOT a first performance. A absolutely first Queen gig with Mike Grose on base, was in: "27.06.1970 - UK - Truro - City Hall". First Queen gig with John Deacon on base was in: "02.07.1971 - UK - Surrey - College".

@DarksideZodiac About the time of the first album he was using Deacon John, but soon switched back to his real name, John Deacon.

The band credited John Deacon as "Deacon John" on the first album because they thought it made him sound more cool. By the next album though, he had got his own way and had his name changed back.
