I fail to see how speeding up the tempo of the song is disrespectful to the meaning.
-
I think you are missing the point of the song.

Here is one thing I never understood about hollywood. you watch all thiese war movies/TV shows you see all thiese older guys with serious weathered faces. Its not like that in real life, a whole lotta young adults and older kids. Who all still wear there youth in there features.

If anything it did this song Jusitce...they taught the shit to some school in early grade school...THIS is WAY better.....

@superki52 The only thing terrible here is your grammar.

The song's great, but am I the only one who thinks the vocals shouldn't be so muted?

Protip: If you like the original better, go listen to it.
Protip #2: If you like this version, but not the video, minimize the window.

not to be crass, but let's go back in a time machine to '71 and see the film Billy Jack, an anti war film about a Special Forces soldier who returns to the U.S. and hates war and wants peace, but no one in authority will let him have it.
Triple tempo of of One Tin Soldier does not add significantly to Band of Brothers, which is a autobiographical book written by their unit commander, a whole different message about war, and survival through one. I think it was a mistake to combo in this way.

@The505Guys I am sure that "overthinking" is not something you are ever guilty of.

Not that facts mean anything but this was a great anti-war song from a great anti-war movie, Billy Jack--something that the makers of "Band of Brothers" have no regard for.
In other words, another great anti-war song ripped out of context and misused.

ahah, nice-o : D

Love the song.
But don't like the video.
Hehe, definitely - it's meant as a tribute to "the man on the ground" - not as a statement of peace-loving, nor at the system they served in - but to the effort made by the individual soldiers standing up as one unit.
