Brian "Head" Welch - Speaking at Cornerstone Festival 2008

Former lead guitarist of Korn speaking at Cornerstone Festival on July 5th, 2008.

Korn was one of my favorite bands before i became a Christian, and even when i found my faith, i still listened to Korn because the lyrics helped me cope through some depressing times. But after awhile it was their music that made me more depressed than the situations i was in. So that's when i stopped listening to secular music for several years.
When i heard the news that Brian left in 2005 and the reasons behind his decision, I became excited. Finally a well known celebrity that i've related to during my darkest era is now sharing the same experiences I was having during my time of redemption! I was in High School at that time, so being the Christian dude at school caused me to catch a lot of flack from the Korn Fans. I've heard remarks of how my people "converted" him or "brainwashed" him into being a "God-fearing wimp". But by the sounds of his testimony, it seems like my people haven't done anything to Brian compared to what God has done for him! God delivered Brian away from his darkness. If Brian didn't hear the holy scriptures, he may have killed himself as the last and final resort to cleaning up the filth in his life.
So think about this people: would you rather have Head commit suicide and be completely gone from the world, or would you rather see him just leave the band so he can live a more peaceful life with his daughter? (rhetorical question, don't kid yourself by saying you would rather see him dead.)

I have listened to KoRn for like 3 years or so. They were comming to Finland(where I live) 2009 but my mom said i was to young to go there. Then 2011 when they are comming again to Finland am I just on the same day taking a trip to Bakersfield, CA,USA.

That makes you thinki why am I actualy living.

@gamefreak903 i call him Father because he is the Father, its simple like my Physical Father is my father. God creeated me and he made my spirit to comune with his, so I obey his word that says, He is our Father. Heres a fact the Spiritual realm is real.. We can draw from the Father justy as he draws us to him. our physical realm that we see and understand is created by him, he gave us a name we didnt give him a name, he already was before you exsited..

@gamefreak903 When I was young my father was on drugs and beat my mother,I would run in the woods and talk to God. I always called him FATHER GOD. To me he was the only father I ever had.He was real. I can feel his love run in my heart like a rush of water. Today I have 2 boys and when I start all my prayers with FATHER GOD.
