The band is (was) EVERYBODY DUCK. The year was 1997. This was the first video my son (age 20 at the time) worked with me. He since moved to San Francisco & works at ABC.
I drove from L.A. to Phoenix, AZ (and got a speeding ticket in Indio, CA) to shoot this video. We used the drummer's parents living room.
It took about 8 hours and the weather was HOT! But as you can see everyone had a good time. The band broke up in 1998.
Here's an insider comment - watch for the garden gnome?
BTW - I had to keep my son from arguing with the CHP cop about my speed. I still say the cop was wrong.

  • I miss them too. I was a fan from almost the very beginning. Would go to a bunch of their concerts...and have all their albums, including their original demo "Ducktape"....another good contemporary (as in another band that performed in the same time frame of existance) was Michelangelo & The Difference. Michelangelo still performs from time to time and has a few solo albums out available on iTunes and such....and he has a channel on here under another band name "Signal Goodbye"

  • @snowqueenkat Actually, Sparklepop was a different band formed by the female vocals of Everybodyduck and I think it was the drummer (she had married one of them if i remember correctly.) But they did have the same style as Everybodyduck.

  • I saw "everybody duck" perform at Glorieta Conference Center in New Mexico in the summer of 1996, I bought their shirt "watch your toast", and bought their cd, I was a summer staffer there, and lived in arizona, so it was good to see someone from home! I love Suzi's diet!"

  • I am so sad you guys broke up. I fell in love with your music in college.
