This is the one of the rinses in my Miele W4840 Washer. I had a Miele Technician set the rinses to Water+. So many (if not all) newer front load washers do not use enough water to rinse, and clothes retain too much detergent and/or fabric softener. The water level during the rinses is about 2-3 inches up on the glass door. Before I had the rinses set to Water+...you could not even see a water level during the rinse cycles. Miele makes amazing appliances, and are built like tanks!!

  • This was not with the quick rinse cycle (I almost never use this cycle). This is with the "Normal" cycle. The water plus (high water level in rinses) is activated with all pre-set cycles and all MasterCare cycles. For some reasons, if I use "Custom", and set my own temps, options and spin speed...then I do not get the high water level rinse. About 99% of the washes are done with Normal, Warm Water & Max Spin.

  • Honestly no idea. Miele for the USA, gives cu ft for measurements, not kg, like in Europe. Sorry

  • Yep, you were right it's only the "custom" cycle that does that.

  • 8KG

  • Was this the quick rinse cycle? I have water plus turned on but the only time I get that much water is with the quick rinse program.

  • what is the capacity of this machine in kg?
