  • I watch loads of board game reviews - including the Dice Tower and others. Your reviews are by far the best. Good job! I think you are setting the new standard in game reviews.

  • Now THAT was a great review. Articulate and comprehensive; with everything I need to make a well informed purchase. Cheers!

  • A most excellent review! Now I know that this game is definitely beyond me right now. Maybe someday. Subscribed, good sir!

  • bought this gem in essen the other day. great video, thanks!

  • @BadTomorrow plus one actually. Learn the sags and come back with how it all works when everything is at play :)

  • @RCVultures ... rules, examples and what not. Scotts is also nice.

I assume the undeadwarrior ones may be good to but his english sound very scandinavian (I'm from Sweden) and I find it distrubingly slow to listen to it.

Awesome review(s). but it's hard to convince me to buy the game from it, but the ratings on BGG are so high and the comments aswell so there must be something good about it. Maybe it's the quests and being able to play "X-com" 1on1 in real life? =P

  • @RCVultures Yeah, this one was much better than the dicetower one. Which doesn't mean that the dicetower one was bad (both was too shallow but atleast this one covered and explained much more as far as movements, actions, various fights and so goes.) I like that this guys review isn't ALL about components which one could get the impression of :). I usually watch dice tower first since he concludes the games very quickly. Drakkenstrikes is probably number one with good manuscript and details

  • It looks so boring, but maybe all the actions make it interesting in the end? I assume there's not enough map pieces to make very interesting maps?

X-com would be cool but let's face it, maybe it's just better to play X-com on the computer? Guess this would need upgradeable weapons and research cards and what not to compete? Maps could be random I suppose.

I really need to know how the end game / sags system work and how fun it is with everything rolling at once.

  • Yes, please, Drakkenstrike, never stop with these reviews. You're excellent.
