  • Tokin- Have you tried that spherical ground glass connection on the ssv? i think im going to get a ssv, just dont know which heater cover and whip to get. Thanks for all your help tokin, i think im going to like the guys at 7th floor llc.

  • @GL0CKWorkOrange i have, have also given it a go with the non spherical ground glass setup. i personally prefer the non ground glass/standard/classic/whatever it may be technically called setup. i have never been a fan of the ground glass connection, it hits great but in my very personal opinion i think it has a higher chance of breaking in the long term vs the non ground glass connect.

  • thanks..which do you have??

    greez

  • it doesnt get much use, but i have the attachment

  • great video tokin..have a question..is the ground glass worth to pay more,or its the same if i buy the free hand attachment? i want to get one, but i dont know what to choose? groundglass? have to take other wand? greez

  • the functionality changes a bit when you have the ground glass. much more akin to a hit from da buddha- less stirring needed but you lose that tight stream of hot air so your bowls will go a bit quicker. and of course, with the ground glass setup, you will need to change the heater cover and use the gg wand, so it is more cumbersome than a simple aluminum piece that is the hands free attachment

  • the volcano and these(as well as other) whip vaporizers are in completely separate classes. the vapor produced from a volcano is very thin, there is more air per vapor in the mix than what is produced by a quality whip vape.

i know several people who own both and rarely use the volcano because it is just not as satisfying as their whip.

  • Love the old vids

  • you have much more of a 'twang' back then

  • lol your voice has changed so much!

  • @deadhead0422 Hahaha dude i dont think you know what you're talking about. Do you even have a volcano yourself? My neighbor has a Buddha and i have a volcano. We're constantly vaping and comparing our vapes so ive had hours and hours to analyze vapor production. The volcano can makes vapor that is just as thick as the buddha. How can you say there is more air per vapor with a quality whip vape? Changing the temperature on a device changes the air per vapor ratio. Want thicker vapor....turn it up

  • @deadhead0422 It is however important to note that either way you're high; praise jah.

  • @Giki888 You're right about them both vaporizing, but tokin has it right; "the vapor produced from a volcano is very thin, there is more air per vapor in the mix than what is produced by a quality whip vape." Logically you wouldn't think there would be a difference, but there is.. Just like theres a difference between bongs, pipes, and joints.

  • @deadhead0422 What do you mean dude??? With the volcano there is a fan that pushes multiple hits into a bag for you, and with a silver surfer or buddha you have to enhale and create a suction to draw the heat through the weed. The volcano automatically loads your hits for you and the other vapes require manual labor( your lungs) to retrieve the vaporized smoke. So i have no idea what you're saying by its different....theyre both vaporizers and they both do one thing....vaporize! Volcano forever!

  • @Giki888 bag style really is not the same. Its totally different pulling fresh vape directly into your lungs(like smoking a pipe, minus the tars, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide ). Rather than a fan pushing the air into a bag, and then you inhaling that into your lungs.
