Darrell and Brian attempt to mountain bike the brand new Contrabando multi-use trail in Big Bend Ranch State Park for the first time. As with most new desert trails, Contrabando is still very loose and sandy, which adds an extra degree of difficulty.

@Snowdrop4150 Neither. I went back a few weeks later and did considerably better, but the most badass rider I know can't clean everything out there. The video does not do justice to how loose it is or to the fact that it was nearly 100 degrees on the day we were riding. This was also not long after the trail had opened, so it was far from being broken in. I imagine that it's easier to ride now.
