Granted the guitar player is better than me by a long shot, he's (NOT the one with the red guitar) playing it wrong.  There's supposed to be a really fast section of hammer-ons between 7-8 frets on the D string (?) (The one below the E string) and then you got it right... Singer, practice. :P
