Don't be so ignorant, many of those so called cheap overseas automobiles your talking about are built in the USA. The big three cannot provide a quality product that has the appeal most americans look for. They don't deserve a bailout to continue making a terrible product! They've had years to adjust to the competition but instead rely on a badge on the grill pulling in the customers. Sorry but i want something that will be last and be reliable, not a quick to rust money sink...

The Orient has already begun changing to fuel-less transport. Once that has happened NO product, whether ag. or industrial will be competitive from a gas-burning country! This stuff they talk is petty - the "Big 3" have developed NO light bodies; NO fuel-less drives: Bankruptcy under chapt 7 is the US ONLY hope! The "Hibrids" they came to DC with, are NOT commercially viable - or on sale, They are only BAIT in Auto shows! Those who know will NOT BE BLITZED!

You don't think a competitor would buy up those premade and furnished factories at a dirt cheap price with already trained workers who'd work even harder to not let this crap happen again? Better than having to build new ones and train new people at another location.

They do have factories here in USA, too. Do your homework. And they follow even stricter guidelines than the US automakers.

The US auto makers have no excuses. They made shitty cars on purpose so they can sell more. I don't have the money, time to spend at mechanic, or an extra car to rely on. Honda won my trust. They, the US automakers, are probably making better cars now, but they shot themselves in the foot by losing the public's trust.

Fuck 'em. Too little to late. Now pay the price.
