We got a dance for all you folk about a merry Christmas polka. Santa brought it here
From North Poel. It started when some elves collided on the ice. Elf queen decided
one two slide might get us thru Noel.

Santa was a-grinnin when he saw the elves beginnin with a one two slide and one two
Slide and turn. The ladies did a curtsey and the elfin men were flirtsy and throughout the

Santa had a reindeer who this music was exciting to enough to take a merry polka chance.

Once a year on Christmas eve the magic lets us all believe in Santa Claus in Santa
Coat and pants. And maybe for a minute, Christmas spirit while youre in it, lets you

May I have your permission, Chuck, to sing this song at my local folk club tomorrow evening? The organiser has asked us all to bring a Christmas song with us and this is easily my favourite as well as being a great one for the audience to join in with.
