What's wrong with Hellfire preaching?

The advantage of Hell-fire preaching is that it gets to the heart of the problem. People need to know that they are already under a sentence of condemnation to Hell. The love option is a good way to connect with people, but at some point they need to be confronted with the truth.

kkkkkkk - I just see two sides of the pendulum... 1 is all love w/o a real word of condemnation - 2 is condemnation w/o a real word on love - I do believe there is a balance - a middle ground - that has to be found to really focused on -

People make descions far too hastily I feel-I would consider waiting a month and reflecting. The thing is, you will not find a perfect church (ever), but there could be people there you can help. (Churches arn't about finding perfect people, for that matter). I sometimes think people are concerned about the wrong issues, when there are far more important ones...instead of seeing oppertunity they see problems.

freezing - I agree completely - the problem is that I have gone through those steps and Im not sure there's any opportunity to be had when I am mocked and marginalized... but God will show me - and all the responses are helping me to at least get a more clear view of the options available. GBU

amen, my brother, yes the 95 thesis, why don't the church tell the true. People are searching for TRUTH. The bible say, come out of her my people.

I think your Church is here on youtube - you been online for 2-3 years so far? Even though you have been moving churchs in a very short time, you were still here - you belong here :)

Leave, and Ask Holy Spirit to guide you to a church where God wants you to be at. If you aren't comfortable now you won't be for a long time. Don't settle for less, Ask, Seek and knock until you find the right one where you can truly Grow, not descend.

Praise be the LORD ELOHIM YESHUA. Amen. What a powerful & holy spirit led video, brother Chris. I agree with all you've brought up here. If it helps, on some level, we're all asking & inquiring required answers after the same questions. We're instructed to "seek, knock, & ask", if your church isn't following the true gospel of the LORD, then perhaps formulating a "home church" for fellowship & bible study might be a good 1st step for GOD's true family & church. HIS will be done 1st. 8^)>

God bless you brother chris your in my prayers my advice would be to keep that church in prayer but leave that church what fellowship is light with darkness? i would leave that church but keep that church in your prayers i hope and pray that helps God bless you keep up the good work for God's kingdom and glory never stop fighting the good fight of faith Jesus Christ is Lord Amen

Worship at home...Teach your wife & friends..Where there is two or more gathered in his name he is there...We are the Church.

JMO.... If i was in this situation then i would walk. Walk fast and direct away from this church. Just have group meetings with folks. The church is not about a big place nor is it against. The church is where God is and his word is preached regardless of the orginization.
