  • Should of put pressure with your hand in stirrup first to see his reaction. Second when he jumped a little bit should of known he was going to buck. As for training put a Bucking Strap on him with a fake dummy human and let him wear it for a few days. Tightening as the day goes through but not so tight to where it hurts him and makes him want to buck. Then tie him up and cross hobble him running rope from front left leg to right hind leg.

  • @horsesandjesus Thanks but he was fixed and the owners were also, on this ride and he went onto being a good Campdrafting Horse after that.

  • first time i see dvd advertised andgreat way to get rolled like they do in westerns!

  • @horseproblems The problem is he bucked his last 3 Owners off. That is because he could, because his Mouth was not such that it could be used to stop him bucking. I remouthed him in one Day and you see the result. He then went to a Show Career, successfully. Horses like this start to think they have to Buck. Only stopping them can fix them.

  • @Equestrian08 I am not sure what the story is here. Perhaps you can email me or show me video of the horse and the problem.

  • However when I jumped him in a saddle with a wider tree to fit his back, he still wouldn't listen. I really want to continue jumping with this horse and be able to compete with him, but I don't understand whats going on? I have tried many different exercises with him to help soften him up and regain control and I do not want to keep bitting him up or using artificial aids on him. They don't really help and I'm afraid they will just make him worse. I am so frustrated.

  • @boredbutbeautiful Thanks Madam. Might Kind. Here is the difference between Bits and Halters :) youtube.com/watch?v=6uyTUihLejA
