The Censor: SL7B Bans Rose Borchovski's "The Kiss" for Nudity

Larkworthy Antfarm films an artist protest against censorship in Second Life where artists joined in protest at Two Fish to express their outrage at SL7B censors' decision to revoke an invitation to Rose Borchovski to exhibit her work "The Kiss," part of her Susa Bubble series, at SL's 7th birthday celebration.

Thanks to the many artists and supporters of free expression who refused to be silent and stood up in Rose's defense.

Someone in LL hasn't come out of the closet if you know what I mean. I think it's crazy to ban nudity. It's a part of life. Real Life Get a grip LL or your fan base will just say the heck with it. Foolish move.

Rose's work has been recognized by the Guggenheim.  It is wholly created in Second Life on LL's platform. Only the blindest Bluenose Linden would fail to see the significance of it. Blind to art...eyes wide open to their own prurient worldview.

religion is ignorance. Religious intolerance is what should be censored, not nudity. Religion is pre-occupied with violence but cannot tolerate nudity. It is abhorrent, intellectual poison, a disease.

So why bother holding one virtually thier intentions are but to take your content anyway they are going to consume your work for their own benefit . I'm getting very tired of all this. This was not dirty this was not obscene. Here we go again. I have been very open with LL/SL but this is just showing investors that the open door is finally closing so what will they have left.
