Here is an introductory talk and 1st lesson video for all aspiring pianists. This conservatory level exercise can be practiced by beginners to advanced players, and will show you how to efficiently turn the thumb under for the effortless playing of scales and arpeggios. This exercise is meant to always be practiced slowly, but with a quick movement of the thumb going under. Practice both hands for two to three minutes each, every day. Within one year, your thumb will be trained to pass under perfectly when playing scales or arpeggiated passages. More lessons will be coming soon.
