  • The Greatest band on earth til today.

  • Why? What happened today? They're still a great band ;-)

  • please if u have it, upload sea song

    thank u!!!!

  • For some reason the BBC didn't include it in their extended highlights. The BBC had technical difficulties on the night which meant that their BBC2 coverage on the evening was corrupted by audio dropouts. My other upload of Firesuite and Kingdom Of Rust as a twosome is from the BBC2 broadcast before the audio went wrong. What's worse is the radio broadcast missed out the first two tracks and then talked all over Firesuite!!! Grrrr.

  • If U2 wrote Winter Hill it would be known the world over.... as it is, I'm glad I know of it, mainly because the vast majority of people wouldn't appreciate it

  • I have just come back to watch this after posting a comment over 6 months ago. It is still superb. I just hope and wish Doves will do more of the same in the future. Looking forward to Jimi and Guy Garvey doing something, should be special. On the subject of Guy, how good were Elbow at Glasto? It was pure magic, what it's all about. I watched knowing this is something more than just music, it was the crowd and band as it should be, as one. The setting sun, everyone there will never forget it.

  • this must have been one of the best gigs to have been at

  • @Mattiehyd150 Most live music is like that. Every gig I've ever played is like that. You've got the energy of the room driving you, an alloted amount of time to fit a set list, so many different factors play into this. Just ask any gigging rock-genre musician & you'll find that the "up-tempo" is a standard for live music, almost by default.

  • @e5ediesed Your so right. Doves are such a lifeline for so many people. Please keep the faith, we shall overcome. Anyway less of the shit, bollocks to all the crap about, long live real music, Cherry Ghost, Jeff Buckley, Nick Cave,Delta Spirit, and all the 60's, What the hell is going on with the music, Rihannia or what ever the fuck her name is, Justin ballbag(Bieber) God help us all. We have marched on Downing Street for less.

  • they are underrated. and u know, those bands in the mainstream are highly rated , and when they come with new album, fans got dissapointed...in doves, i ve never seen a bad album. their music remains as it always was, the classic doves we all love since lost souls. for me , the greatest bands are not so popular. even with few fans , they deserve it.

  • Right handed bass played left handed. Not an easy trick to pull off!!! Might explain the style

  • thats not music...thats magic...!!!!

  • His bass has just got lots of natural gorgeous woody tone - his playing style is so laid back and straightforward (deceptively so) it really needs a good sounding bass I think - luckily the Precision delivers in style ;)

  • @Mattiehyd150 yeah , a lot of doves live tracks are the same. The drummer has timing issues and does not seem to use a clicktrack .
