A film montage of Star Wars Episodes II and III detailing the love affair between Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala, showing you the precursor to Anakin's fall to the Dark Side and transformation into Darth Vader.

What I wished to show, using my limited resources, was the love between the two as the cause for Anakin's fall; as the film progresses, you see ups and downs of their relationship and the final moment before Anakin makes his decision.

Music: Moonlight Sonata, Op. 27, No. 2

  • this just reminds me of how fucked I am......

  • @machkando what do you mean?

  • it just breaks my heart when i see him cry..

you know in that moment that he really is suffering..the torment and conflict within him..

  • @padmeluvs The deepest part of the prequel trilogy, I think. I mean, he's so tormented, and he knows he just made a big mistake that he can't really undo.

  • awesome!!!!

  • never knew he cried at 4:47

  • @Arghilehman well it's rather personal but let's just say this beautiful video of yours represents my life currently. Except without all the star wars stuff lol.

As for the flaws of Anakin the character, well, we all know that he had to be pathetic and whiny and lovesick for him to have turned to the dark side.

It's my old Jar Jar argument:

Everyone complains about how Jar Jar ruined Star Wars I, but I wish people would realize the character, however annoying he was, was completely necessary for the story. And for that, I can look past his annoyingness.

  • @thewritingwriterof89 Thank you for the complement!

In terms of your inference about Anakin's awkwardness, did you mean the actual actor, or the character? I do think that Hayden C. went a little overboard with the Padme dialog, and that it was a bit hard to take him seriously. However, his acting for all other parts, including his fall to the Dark Side, were acted perfectly fine.
