ERITREAN RAILWAY-PART 7 RETURN FROM MASSAWA

October 2006 was the year 4 intrepid Aussies travelled halfway round the world to visit the steam railway in Eritrea. In part 7 we are leaving Massawa on our way eventually to Asmara passing refugee camps and over dried up river beds on a viaduct (its the dry season). Eritrea is one of the poorest nations in the world. If you look carefully you can see some of the war damaged buildings in Massawa as well as new construction which is where we filmed one of the run pasts from. Please note we did some of the run pasts more than once but I have included them as each one has a slightly different aspect and things to see.
