Nikon D5100 Video Test 1080p 24fps

A Nikon test video shot @1080p 24fps. The images are random without any tripod. I'm a Nikon guy and I was seriously considering a Canon (the T3i or 60D) because is truly superior over Nikon regarding video, but I think that what it counts is your creativity. Now I'm conviced I made the right choice with the D5100, getting good video with Nikon is far more challenging than with Canon, but it's not impossible. I really like my results.

@HDCRdrummer I had the same the dissuasion, I bought the Nikon regretting ever since. It is not that the footage is bad, but how you put in the settings and lack of manual control. If you're going to do films with it by a Canon they are just better. Hope I helped you with your choice :)

Wow really beautiful. Thank you for sharing this! I've got one of these cameras too but I'm still trying to figure out how to use ir properly since it has so many different options and preferences.
