When I challenged him ten levels ago off-screen he went down easy. Not now.

Unfortunately, I'm having a hell of a time getting Valsu to challenge me. Damn Esuna for being so likeable. There's a FaQ on Gamefaqs that explains the mechanics of the reactions of the apprentices toward you. Esuna's the most likeable character.

After watching that entire fight... Damn, Olvan was my first character I ever picked but I didn't like him too much so I started over. Seems like he gets rather beastly, and that his boast, 'I am the strongest of all of us." might of had some standing.

@SirVyre Wilme and Lux are stronger statwise, yet with the equipmen Olvan has, he's the strongest physically.
