so what are you doing, as an MEP to represent your constituents and argue your case in the parliament for these legislation?
Or are you too busy giving it to a poor moldovan girl in some backstreet brothel for 50 euros?

You both below like to change the meaning for just one word for a whole new factual meaning, so you believe corbett whose another snide little fuckwit that needs a slap like mandelson, brown and their other cronies. States do not have the right to stop EU laws, so how can it be a co decision (courts 2001) derr. your right jMillinsBXL, 100%of our laws and decisions will certainly be made in brussels soon, but we cant oppose those decisions. cheers.

As LaUniePassion correctly states, the 75% refers to European legislation, not national legislation.
President Pottering made the correct statement, that at the present time 75% of EU legislation is decided by co-decision (between Parliament, Council and Commission). Following the approval of the Lisbon Treaty, this percentage would rise to almost 100%.
Basic error!

If anyone understood German, you would understand that he said "75% of European Legislation passes through the European Parliament" aka through the co-decision process. He did not mean 75% of all laws in general. That is a factual misnomer. Please check your facts before making such accusatory statements.

Exciting developments. I remember seeing a Bloom/Corbett head to head on the Record Europe once, I remember Godfrey saying "let's talk about who's being shouted down here". It's going to be shame when the EU breaks up because the exciting part is watching the eurosceptics tear it down :D
Well said Godfrey!!
And BTW Mary Honeyball I hope you are reading this as the same goes for you!! Though you might need a brain implant before!
