Shattering The Skies Above by Trivium, my first Trivium cover. What an incredible band. When I first got Ascendancy a few years ago I fell in love with that album and band. I knew all of the songs off that album but at the time didn't have a camera. Well here I am down the road and a friend of mine asked me to cover a Trivium song. He asked for this one in particular so here you go Jake (teazy94)!
As for the mistakes in this take, I know there are a few pretty dumb ones but I had to leave it. I was very happy with the little improv section I threw in after the actual solo section and I couldn't bring myself to delete this take. So despite all of the mistakes I hope you guys still enjoy it.
