@SidewaysGts rieksone and dude9800 are under the impression that f1 cars are automatically directed around the track by computers and that the driver just sits there, and yes they have semi automatic transmissions, due to the fact fully manual gears would be impossible to do under the work load they already have

Prejudice, much? Either way just curious- What exactly constitutes a manual gearbox to you? I was under the impression formula 1 vehicles currently used semi-automatic transmissions.
