GenderBlenders week 156 Question:
Has there ever been a time or situation that has made you feel inadequate as a transperson?
For example, you're not "trans enough" because you decide one path of transition over another.
This week the sisters give a primer on thoughts of inadequacy. We have both only been confronted by one person, who called him/herself a transsexual who insisted on specific critera he/she generated as an elitist to be considered transsexual. Sorry, it don't work quite that way. WPATH does have standards and definitions for various levels of trans people.
The new North County LGBTQ Resource Center is now open!
We are having a transsexual/transgender get together/support at the center from 6PM to 8PM every Monday. Come join us.

Many conditions and situations affect us from the time we are born and throughout our daily lives as we reach out and connect with others. This translates to how we live and how caring makes a difference for each of us in our endeavors to educate and share our experiences with each other and those around us.
Stephie and I are proud to share our experiences, thoughts, and expressions with our friends and family on our collab channel.
Much Love and Infinite Hugs,

@Tiffanynicolina Hi Sis. You are so right, and as you know, we know this all to well. All transitions vary individually and should be understood, based on the individuals circumstances and conditions. Proper medical monitoring is so very important.

@Tiffanynicolina Thanks, dear. Transitions are always individual. Everyone is different, and that's important to remember.
Have a wonderful transition yourself, dear sister.

I agree girls, it's important not to compare our own unique transition with anyone else. Example: I've been on HRT for 5 years now, always with a very low T level so have never required a Tblocker... just estrogen. I wouldn't have known that if I didn't see my doctor regularly. Unsupervised ,I would have taken a Tblocker like many others do, which could have threatened my health. SEEING A DOCTOR is vital to a HEALTHY transition, one that uniquely your own. Love you dear sisters,Tiffany

Many Transsexuals begin their transitions by dressing as themselves (some part time at first and others like myself immediately full time), getting laser and electrolysis work done, and can even get their name changed in many states, long before they ever see a therapists, psychologist, or approach their physician to begin a medical transition.
Love you all....

@TransgirlCandyapple Thank You so much Jenn. Medical transition is a extended process of an individuals personal self transition, which you yourself have so much to be proud of. Knowing all of the available paths, comes through continued education from each other, and thus the continuation of updates to WPATH-SOC, giving those who provide us corrective assistance, a place to start with identification. We Love seeing you and following your journey as well dear!

@cathy308308 Thanks Hun! I think we are saying the same thing! You are absolutely right. Whether you are MTF or FTM, when you recognize yourself. When you start your journey, you decide to take action to be who you actually are, thus the beginning of one's transition. We all have unique experiences as Transsexuals, When transitioning, there is a mixed bag of changes, emotions, and developments, often in differing orders. Each of us are unique, and to become ourselves, is never inadequate.

I believe that transition starts when you start acting like a woman in any way. Decision has little to do with the start in my view. I agree you never stop transition but i have trouble with your paths and levels that people travel. Everyone is different. Thanks for you comments. I love listening to you and thinking about what you have to say.
