Royal Caribbean is planning on selling her to pullmantur cruises like many rci/celebrity ships in the next 2 years.

@The17tech Well I think all the older ships have a time period already planned fo when they leave the fleet especially with newbuild planning, etc, unfortunately thats business.

@norcalemt02 new reports suggest neither majesty nor monarch will be sold, chartered or transferred. That has come straight from royal caribbean themselves, now attention has turned to the ex sovereign of the seas, still owned by RCCL. It would suprise me if rccl did sell these ships.

@thehahacac yes majesty and monarch were ordered together at the end of the 80's, majesty started construction in 1990 after monarch left the construction dock.

Actually, royal caribbean may sell the monarch but the majesty is staying because they already have voyages for 2013 and the monarch is going for sale, most likely not foe pullmantur.

The Majesty of the Seas was the first ever cruise I went on back in Sept of 2007. The Majesty of the Seas is one magnificent ship!

@kdproductions2008 I did read about that on cruise critic, why wouldnt RCCL make them take it down? They deined at the time the new Past Guest Program but saying it wont happen but it did. Seems alittle suspesious if you ask me
