Here is my first verions of a Knight Rider light scanner that fits the 2008 Shelby Mustang hood, just like the one in the series. It consists of 128 8mm 45,000mcd LED's so it's pretty bright. Total length is about 33". Not fun to build but looks pretty cool installed.

  • can u make one that does both the old school lights and the new school with the same speed as shown on the show?

  • @igotalife787 I can make one like that. I offer them with with a speed package for 10 speeds per scan so it can be dialed in to match the show.

  • Hey man would it be possible to get s schematic from you for this by any chance? And is it possible to vary the speed or width of each pass of the light at all?

  • @vidfreak152 Hello, yes it does have a speed control with 10 speeds per scan plus a memory function so once you set the speed it will remember it when you power it on again. Unfortuneatly, I don't have any schematics and I can't supply any since I sell them. But if you're interested, let me know and I can make one for you.

  • @1999TransAmWS6 hey i would love to get one of these, how much would it cost for a blue led one to go in the trufiber gts-4 venom hood of a 07 mustang ?

  • @inara2007gt The sandard single scan Mustang light sells for $399 with $18 for shipping. To get the remote control package with 27 scans/10 speeds per scan costs an additinal $80. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks!
