  • Mike Joyce is so awesome in this song, in this band even. When people talk about The Smiths they think of Morrissey and Marr and yes they are god but you can't forget Joyce and Rourke, Rourke was brilliant in Rusholme Ruffians and Barbarism Begins at Home and Joyce was also great in Queen Is Dead, they are both so very great.

  • morissey wasnt afraid to sing about real stuff,,the queen is dead,,what nice thought

  • Is this the one that was used for Rank?

  • If only live performances were still like this...

  • I love how the others seem to be dressed in nice suits, while Joyce looks like he's going to the beach <3

  • @RyoCaliente I agree, best bands normally have a good chemistry.

  • @RyoCaliente Rourke was brilliant in more than just those two songs. He made them unique. I have listened to them since they released the first record and I always end up listening to his bass lines when I listen to their music. He is my favorite Smith.

  • @andrewkenworthy what a nice thought indeed...she's no good to us anyway.

  • what brilliant musicians! Perfectly tight

  • Barbarism Bass Line is epic!

  • he doesn't fuck
