Andrew ( husband ) and the kids took to Uni-cycling like ducks to water, it took me much longer, and I have along way to go, but persistence pays off. I think it has a lot to do with being cautious, so much of uni-cycling is in your head. I felt more confident on firm grass, attempting to ride on concrete made me particularly nervous, concrete is not very forgiving.
I am embarrassed to say i gave up , the unicycle is hanging in the garage , upside down on a hook ,
But after getting a reply from you it feels like a kick up the bottom and i will get it out again this weekend and have another week at it :-)
Do you find that you dont forget how to unicycle once you learn it ??
All the best to you and the family

@jasoncambs Did you get it Jason? I hope so, if you didn't I reckon the key is do a bit every day for 10 days straight keeping these things in mind
Look about 3 -4 meters ahead
Weight the seat and pedals evenly ie approx 1/3 of your weight on each
Straight back, shoulders back, leaning very slightly forward
Arms stretched out. When you leave the wall or fence do what ever it takes with you upper body to stay up. Flailing arms wildly and going in all directions is perfectly acceptable. good luck

@nothingtodowithcoke This is a trials unicycle. Same as any 20" unicycle in most ways except that they are very strong and made to last. I am a big believer in "buy quality buy once". This video is of Wendy learning to ride, none of it was done post her learning to ride, I taught her and took the video. Its 2 years later now and the KH20 is still in great condition, but now she mostly rides off road on a 26" QUAX Muni also a fantastic high quality unicycle.
