Dr. Owens, are you referring to the failure of the founding fathers to free anybody BUT THEMSELVES, i.e. the white, male, "haves"? Are you referring to the hypocrise of these guys appealing to the noble ideal of "ALL MEN" being equal, to persuade the multitudes to fight on their behalf, only to deny the vast majority of the population the "rights" (i.e. privileges) they were to retain for themselves - a failure that led to a bloody Civil War, which STILL divides America into North vs. South?

Rayosun4...the Constitution and its American Experiment style of government was usuped for Democracy and globalization... Understand that the style of governance that we had as the American Experiment could not work as we globalized our economy...understand what globalization means and how it is governed.

You always have great analyses with regard to United States traditions and the U.S. Constitution. I look forward to reading this book, Dr. Owens. Good luck, my friend...

No human being is perfect. So humans can't produce anything perfect, including the bible. What is important isn't the incontrovertable statement that "the Constitution was imperfect", but how YOU claim that you can do better. And my guess is that our founding fathers did a much, much better job than what YOU propose, Dr. Ownes!
