His interview went very well. He is already a Junior Interpreter at the Geddy House so he is well aquainted with CW. He was given the position of snare drummer recuit. He is JACKED!

My son just got called up for the Juniors. He is ecstatic! This year they are doing interviews. He plays the snare in school, but will play the fife if that is what is needed.

CW does muffle both. Heard them and the alumni last night at Drummers Call in CW. Simply amazing. They do it all. With all due respect to Yorktown and Plymouth and Towpath and I'm sure others, this is the best 18-and under in the country by far, and right at the top with OG and MCV. I can't wait for today's parade and muster.

pretty sure CW muffles both drums...you can see the rags hanging off the snares and if those bass drums were not muffled they would be ringing like a bell...

I've seen the Yorktown corps perform at the Deep River Muster. These guys are, in my opinion, one of the top tier fife and drum corps in the country. The bass drum sounds like it's unmuffled (which I really like). Can someone tell me if the snares are too? It's hard to tell from the audios I pick up here.
