I remember seeing all of this the next day.
It looks a lot better now.
I live close to the dairy on hog jaw, and there used to be trees surrounding that road, now all of it is gone.

It's amazing to see the damage as you hear on the radio "1/2 mile wide tornado in Limestone County"...and other tornadoes on the ground in AL and elsewhere. Incredible day that was with way too many lives lost. =[

Gosh, I remember I used to stop at that gas station, before Jetpep took over. Glad to know the woman was okay. This is just about 5 miles from where my family lives, and the same one that tore through Cullman, that my husband saw and got a video of with his phone (though I don't know if he still has it). I pray for all those who have been severely affected by this more so than I. We were very fortunate that all we had was power lost, but we still have our lives here.

Just got our power on today, the tornado was really close over by 1855 county rd past the cullman county line on 69.

@ckj456 I hear ya!
When ours came back on I felt like hugging the water heater and just listening to it simmer.
It was music. Heating water on a Coleman stove to have a spongebath just isn't even close.
I was able to keep the fridge and essentials running for 94 hours straight by charging the backup battery every 4 - 6 hours. The beautiful thing was seeing the milky way and all those stars at 3:AM for the first time in decades...
