Well, it is ironic that the young male at the end, Aeneid, to whom Paris gives the Sword of Troy, goes out to found the Roman civilization. And what history tells us is that the Roman Empire finally conquers the Greek civilization, assimilating its ideas and cultures within its own. 'The Aeneid' is written about that, how the conquerors become the conquered, to some extent.
