I've played Lady Ashbrook in this, and it was the hardest part I've played, but it was amazing, and when we watched an archive performance of the National Theatre's premiere night, I was weeping so badly.

Hey, someone very dear to me is staring in this, and she is quite concerned about having to perform the sex scene near the end of the first act. Can someone tell me how drastic it is? or what it entailed when you saw it?

This show floored me and deserved to run forever. I saw it the second to last performance and the audience was in tears at it's sheer power and beauty.

i'm doing this play at the moment at my drama club.Meshak is scary. Everyone is frightned of him at the club especially when he picks up toby's mothers beadss and tells him to run. =[

Is all of thsi footage from the national? I worked at the imperial when it was on broadway... some of this I don't recognize... and I was there every performance during the american run... just wondering.

Nope, this is entirely from the Broadway run at the Imperial. And boy am I jealous that you got to be there for every performance!
