Backpacking Border Terrier

Mocha loves going for a "Hike"! She tires easily due to her heart disorder and cannot go on traditional walks any more, but she loves to get out and go anyway. So, we came up with a solution that works for all of us --- she rides in a backback! The backpack is rugged for outdoor hiking and is an airline approved carryon bag. When we go on flights, Mocha climbs into her backpack and we take her with us as carryon luggage and she rides at our feet. There aren't too many backpacking dogs in our area, so she's a hit when others see her on the hiking trail, around the neighborhood, and in the airport! What a brilliant idea. I will definitely keep this in mind as my older B.T. moves on in years. Fortunately that's a few more years off. Mocha has a keen look in her intelligent B.T. eyes. Thanks for sharing the idea.
