Mina Stac, Hirta, St Kilda. To port the cliff of Conachair is 430 metres high (1411 feet) - the highest in Britain, but here unfortunately obscured by the low cloud. The birds are fulmars - superb fliers that breed on the cliffs here. St Kilda is a World Heritage Site and an important seabird breeding site.
