Part one of an interview on BET's Videosoul. Phyllis and Lonnie were promoting a song they did together called Obsession. As far as I can tell no one has posted this yet on youtube. I may be wrong of course.

  • @stanleyballard I know she was married in the early 80s,but this is after that marraige had ended. She talks about being engaged but she never says who she was engaged to.I never heard about her and Christopher Williams, thats a shock to me.. (wow)

  • @kim24may She was married around 1980 too and had an affair at one point with Christopher Williams who was in the New Jack City movie and sang "Talk To Myself" and "I'm Dreamin".

  • @Janae89Vidz wooooo chile come on with it

  • What a voice, what a voice!

  • What year was this shown?

  • wow,she was engaged? i wonder with who and what happened to that relationship.

  • @kay77764 Me too.

  • i miss This BET

  • @Milton754 OMG! Such an amazing vocalist. Takes my breath away. She feels a song deep down and she conveys her emotions vocally so that we can all feel it too.

  • Listening to Phyllis sing at the piano with Lonnie Liston on piano takes my breath away. Phyllis had an amazing voice. I am praying for my favorite singer Whitney Houston. A beautiful talent with drug problems. I don't want to hear on the news the death of Whitney Houston, that would be devastating. Whitney please go get help, and forget the haters, their are more people who genuinely care about you than the haters.
