That's what I would expect to happen, but I swear I heard "and will not receive updates," which would mean that I would never let the Chromebook on our network again. I'll listen again and find the time of the quote if it's not completely in my imagination.

@daengbo It just means you will no longer have access to the Management Console and the Google warranty. They will still work as Chromebooks with full access to Chrome, OS updates, and the full Google Apps suite.

I missed the webinar but have a question. After three years, the chromebooks are ours to keep, but were said to be unsupported and not receiving updates. Doesn't this basically mean they're bricks? Are they still listed in the control console? I guess not, since we don't pay the monthly fees anymore. Can they still connect to GA? Why don't they receive software updates?
