What a treat to see that there are still centres of old fashioned excellence still in existence in England. I reckon there are very few surgical workshops which could make a genuine presentation like this left in UK. Obviously some procedures are not shown in their entirety as I doubt if Phoenix would take this as an opportunity to pass their skills on to others.

I hope some of the needle holder repair process was edited out. If not I think he may have missed a couple of steps, or did them improperly. Heating stainless until it is bright red is not a good idea. It will either soften or harden. Then the whole business of filing on the jaws them self to get the carbon off is not advised. Not cleaning the T.C before applying the braze is another thing that is not good. I have to repair peoples mistakes like this all the time.

It's quit interesting and I am surprized that surgical instruments are still in production in UK.
