Wow...you can hold it in one hand. Props to you! I bought the 300 due to its proper grip and 3 fps shooting...

I have to agree with you here. I have an Alpha 300 which I'm very happy with, but the special grip designs Sony experimented with in the later models are just total ass - which is sad because some of the models have great potential.

I actually prefer the a330 grip. I have pretty small hands I guess, maybe that's why. What sealed the deal between them though, is the tiltable screen and hdmi-out.
