I grabbed her hand and turned towards her. "Shannen. There's something I've been meaning to tell you...for a long time." Now she was beginning to look happy. "I like you too. I want to be with you. Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Kevin! I don't know what to say!" She squeeled. "How about...yes?"
"Yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes! I would be more than happy to be your girlfriend."
"Awesome! You have no idea how long I've wanted to ask you that."
"I think I have a pretty good idea." Wow. I was finally going out with the girl of my dreams. It didn't feel real. I couldn't help myself. I needed to touch her. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her into a tight hug. I didn't want to let her go.

[Shannen's pov]

I'm dating my best friend! Yayness! I never thought this would happen. I mean. How can he like me? Oh gosh. He's hugging me! This feels good. This could definitely work. "Kevin. What do you say we go downstairs and tell everyone the good news?"
"Sure. Yeah." He seemed disappointed but we couldn't just sit there hugging forever. We walked down the stairs, hand in hand. If they didn't figure it out from that I don't know what's wrong with them. Seriously. Were Bailey and Joe even not making-out!? "Oh my gosh! You guys are so dating!" Ellen screamed. I nodded and watched as she ran over and hugged us both. "Congrats! I knew it would happen eventually. I mean you've both li-"
"Ok Ellen. We get it." I interrupted. "We're going to go out and get some Starbucks. Be back later." Kevin said as he gently tugged on my arm. He was such a gentleman. He opened doors for me, he bought me coffee and he was being so sweet. I couldn't believe this was the Kevin Jonas I had been friends with my entire life. When we got back to my house I invited Kevin inside. We hung out in the living room awhile, watching tv. We were cuddled up together on the couch under a blanket. I had my head on his chest and his hand was resting lightly on my back. You have no idea how bad I wanted to kiss him. I knew our relationship would move quickly because we knew each other very well, but I didn't want to kiss the first day we started dating. Well I did, but you know what I mean. I'm not sure where everyone else went. I just remembered they were at my house when Kevin and I left for Starbucks. Hmm. Oh well. My question was answered. I heard laughing coming from upstairs. "Did you hear that peanut?"
"I was going to ask you the same thing. Come on." I grabbed his hands and pulled him upstairs. Ellen, Nick, Joe and Bailey were in the computer room watching videos on youtube. "Hey guys. What's up?" Joe asked us. "We didn't know you were still here. How come?" I questioned. "Didn't feel like leaving I guess. We can if you want."
"No. That's fine. Wanna do something?"
"I do!" Ellen shouted. "Like what?" Kevin asked. "I say 7 minutes in heaven since well, we all are dating someone." "Wait! My girlfriend isn't here." Nick chimed in. "You have Ellen." Joe replied.
